Additionally, Dr. Mbabuike strives to be creative and is constantly inspired to advance his practice. Further, he believes in uplifting people as he moves professionally by motivating the upcoming generation of doctors, particularly Black men who are underrepresented in the medical industry.

In New York City, JeanJacques Mbabuike practices medicine. Currently, most of his practice is spent managing and treating chronic pain, particularly severe arthritis. To treat orthopedic discomfort in the knees, shoulders, hips, back, and other areas, Dr. Mbabuike offers non-surgical procedures. He keeps track of patients over time and creates custom regimens suited to each patient's requirements.

Admission to this program requires careful consideration of high school grades in all essential disciplines, including junior-year scientific courses, math test scores, and communications. The program also looks at volunteerism and character qualities, including motivation, compassion, and maturity. Standardized exam results, a strong GPA, three essays, and five letters of recommendation are required for the competitive application procedure.

JeanJacques Mbabuike stood out in these areas and was chosen as one of the exclusive groups of 50–60 students admitted to the program each year. He enrolled in a 7-year combined bachelor of science and medical doctorate degree because of this program. At City College of New York, JeanJacques Mbabuike finished his undergraduate studies in three years. He then enrolled in the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where he received his M.D.
